You can make a UPI payment QR from your own UPI ID in under two minutes, with no app sign-up and no bank visit. Customers scan it and pay straight to your account.
What you need
Just your UPI ID — the address that looks like name@bank, which you already have in any UPI app. That is all a QR needs to route money to you.
The steps
- Open a UPI QR generator and enter your UPI ID.
- Add your shop or name, so buyers see who they are paying.
- Leave the amount blank for a counter QR, or set an amount for a fixed-price item.
- Download the QR, print it, and stick it at the counter.
Fixed amount or not?
For a shop counter, leave the amount blank. Customers scan once and type whatever they owe, so the same QR works for every sale. Add a fixed amount only when the price never changes — a single product, a fixed bill, or a donation.
Before you print it
Scan your own QR first and confirm your name and UPI ID show correctly. Then print it large and clear, and laminate it so it survives the counter. One good print lasts months.
