How to remove an object

  1. Open your photo in the Watermark & Object Remover.
  2. Paint fully over the object (a little past its edges helps).
  3. Click Erase — the area is filled from the surrounding image.
  4. Work in small pieces for large objects, and touch up. Then download.

Best results

Small-to-medium objects sitting over an even background come out cleanest — a spot on a wall, an item on a plain floor, something in the sky or sea. Large objects over intricate scenes are harder; remove them in sections.

Can it remove a person from the background?

Yes, if the space they occupy is fairly even (grass, sand, wall). Brush over them and erase; touch up the edges. Very detailed backgrounds are harder.

Is this AI object removal?

It uses content-aware fill that reconstructs the area from nearby pixels — the same idea as "magic eraser", running privately in your browser. A heavier AI model for very busy scenes is on our roadmap.
