Legitimate reasons to remove a watermark

You added a sample/preview watermark to your own artwork and want the clean master; you own the image and need a version without an overlaid label; you're tidying your own product photo before printing. In all these cases the content is yours to edit.

What not to do

Please don't use this to strip watermarks from someone else's work, remove paid-stock watermarks you haven't licensed, or erase provenance signals to pass an AI image off as something it isn't. Many AI images also carry invisible provenance (e.g. SynthID) that a pixel eraser does not touch.
