Vaend (vaend.com) is a free set of everyday tools that run inside your web browser, owned and operated by Chitrangana ("we", "us"). There is no account and no sign-up. By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country to use Vaend.
Vaend's tools work in your browser. Your files are not uploaded to us — they never leave your device. Anything you save (invoice history, business profile, etc.) is stored only in your own browser, and you can clear it anytime. An optional cloud backup exists but is off unless you switch it on; see the Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything important.
We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Vaend for lawful personal or business purposes, subject to these terms. Vaend, its name, design, and original content are owned by Chitrangana or its licensors; the site also uses open-source libraries under their respective licences. You keep all rights to the content and files you create or process — we claim no ownership over your documents or outputs.

Any legal, tax, or financial template, calculator, or document generator on Vaend is a general convenience tool, not professional advice. Vaend and Chitrangana are not a law firm, accountant, or financial adviser, and using the tools creates no professional relationship. Laws, tax rates and formats differ by state and country and change over time — for anything important, have a qualified local professional review your document or numbers before you rely on them.
Some pages link to third-party services (for example, opening a prompt in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) or load open-source libraries and fonts from third-party CDNs. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, which are outside our control and your responsibility to review.
The site and tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the tools are error-free, uninterrupted, or fit every purpose. You use them at your own risk and are responsible for checking results before relying on them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chitrangana and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profit, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the site or tools, including decisions made based on a tool's output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use Vaend — which, being free, is zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your mandatory statutory consumer rights in your country (see below).
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the seat of Chitrangana's registered office in India have jurisdiction — except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you additional consumer rights or a right to bring proceedings locally, which these terms do not take away.
If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of your country's law, and nothing here removes your statutory rights or your ability to bring a claim in your local courts.
The disclaimers and liability limits above apply to the maximum extent permitted by your state's law; some states do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable laws are preserved. Grievances may be sent to the contact below.
Mandatory consumer protections under Japan's Consumer Contract Act and Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act and Unfair Contract Terms Act continue to apply and are not waived by these terms.
We may update these terms as Vaend grows; the latest version always lives on this page with an updated date, and continued use means you accept them. We may also modify, suspend or discontinue any tool at any time. You may stop using Vaend at any time.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect, and the unenforceable part is applied to the maximum extent permitted by law.
